Service Information & Biography
Wes worked in the Lancaster Det before being transferred to the Criminal Intelligence Branch in Ottawa. In the late 1960’s, Wes worked undercover reporting on the activities of the Front de la Liberation du Quebec (FLQ). Promoted to Sgt in 1970. He worked with the security detail at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. In 1982, Wes was transferred back to detachment duties at Manotick then to West Carleton where he took his retirement. Wes now lives in Kemptville with his wife, Claire
